Fortis e.V. offers services for people in the Böblingen district who have committed crimes, are homeless, suffer from mental illness or have a dependency disorder.
As a social organization, Fortis e. V. in the Böblingen district pursues the overarching goal of supporting people in achieving their individual goals and realities of life. The inviolable dignity of every person and their right to a self-determined life form the foundation of its work. The scope of work includes supporting people in need of help, in particular due to their mental illness, addiction, homelessness or criminal convictions. We work with people on a voluntary basis for as short a time as possible and as long as necessary.
Personal responsibility, empathy and solution-oriented thinking are important skills for working at Fortis e. V. The association's services are highly relevant in the Böblingen district and beyond. The employees are integrated into teams that have different regional structures and mainly work on an outpatient basis. The employees are in close contact with each other, undergo further training together and work together in a spirit of trust. Cooperation with the district of Böblingen and various institutions and other players in the fields of assistance takes place at various levels. Fortis supports the networking of professional help and self-help services.
